Our recent stay at B&B De Waterzooi was absolutely delightful. The breathtaking views of the castle from our room were truly enchanting. The owners were incredibly kind and made us feel right at home. The breakfast they served was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The entire space was immaculately clean and comfortable, making our stay truly enjoyable. We couldn't have asked for a better base spot to explore the city of Ghent. This hidden gem exceeded our expectations and made our honeymoon truly special. we cannot recommend this B&B enough!

Amazing stay! The hosts were fantastic, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The breakfast was stunning, and the house itself was beautiful and relaxing. The location was excellent, right in the center of town but not noisy at all. The bedrooms had private terraces, a wonderful addition. We also loved the fact that there were plenty of places to eat and drink within walking distance.

Parking was a bit tricky as we had to drive into town and it was a little confusing with the car-free streets and trams everywhere. We recommend using the underground car park nearby.

Spent a wonderful Christmas in a beautiful medieval building in the heart of a picturesque European city. The proximity to everything made exploring the city on foot a breeze. The rooms were well-furnished and the breakfast was great. The best part was the friendly and helpful staff.

I absolutely adored the stunning decor of B&B De Waterzooi in Ghent. The elegant and tastefully adorned interiors created a warm and inviting atmosphere. The spacious layout with multiple levels was perfect for me, offering easy accessibility and convenience. As a senior woman, I appreciated the thoughtful design, especially the comfortable furniture, including a cozy sofa and a big screen TV. The entire place exuded luxury, from the beautifully finished bathrooms to the memory foam bed, which provided me with the most restful sleep.

If I had to ask for one improvement for a better vacation experience, it would be to have a more discreet and intimate breakfast setting. While the communal table downstairs was a nice touch, it lacked a sense of privacy, particularly when other guests were present.

The foam pillows and memory foam mattress were not to our liking, but that is really a personal preference. the temperature in the room can be quite warm in summer months on the upper level, but there was a fan provided to help cool down.
